Today I had the privilege of talking with a few business owners who have products that could actually clean the oil in the Gulf. Generically called bio-remediation, these products are powders or liquids that are made up of biological microbes or bacteria with the ability to consume the oil and, through the digestive process, release substances that are safely eaten by marine life. It will be interesting to see when, or if, BP will use this safe and effective method for cleaning up this terrible blight.
